50 Cent’s Electric Blue Ranger Rover

We’ve told you before about 50 Cent’s red custom Pontiac G8; well it looks like now’s he’s just one white car away from being able to start an America-themed superhero team, becuase he’s got himself an electric blue Range Rover. Sitting on 24 inch Forgiato Sedici wheels, the luxury SUV cost him around $50 thousand and was customized at Roadstarr Motorsports in Los Angeles. We have to tell you folks, we’re developing a serious respect for old Curtis Jackson’s taste in cars, as his fleet just keeps getting cooler and cooler. We also think his rides, which aren’t obnoxiously flashy enough to be considered truly hip-hop, fit well with his new career as an actor; between his garage, and his roles in All Things Fall Apart, Freelancers, Odd Thomas, and Lives of Saints, we’re going to forget he was ever even in the rap game, let alone on top of it. He’ll become “Curtis Jackson, that guy from that movie who has the cool car”, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

50 Cent’s Pontiac G8

From the “Rappers who actually spend their money on something interesting” file, we have 50 Cent’s imported Pontiac G8. This “Red Dragon” (I really hope that’s what he calls it; well, that or “Percy”) is actually a re-badged Holden Commodore that Fifty and Unique Autosports brought over from Australia. Using an LSX 427 crate engine and parts from a Corvette ZO6′s LS7 engine, they’ve managed to give it over 500 hp. Inside, the car sports red leather seats with matching arm rests, 50-cent logos everywhere, and an 800-watt JBL sound system. They also gave it a slick red paint job with a black stripe, and twenty inch rims. I’ve got to give credit to Fifty for driving this bad boy around; it doesn’t make the “YO! I have Money!” statement that some of his and his contemporaries other cars make, but it’s a great car, and an impressive machine. This car is a lot more “action hero” than “rich guy”, and that gains it a big stamp of approval in my book.
