Adam Carolla’s Car Collection

Adam Carolla is one the last examples of a “real man” left in the celebrity world. The former boxer, turned construction worker, turned host of Loveline, turned host of The Man Show, turned most successfull pod-caster in the history of the world is a true dude; minimally groomed and knowledgable and passionate about everything we think a man should be. This includes cars; he even hosted the short-lived Car Show. The host of The Adam Carolla Show and author of In Fifty Years We’ll All Be Chicks has a really legit collection that includes some Porsches, some Corvettes, and even a Lamborghini Miura. However, he is the most proud of the first car that he bought after hitting it big, a 1989 E30 BMW M3; and the car that he races on occasion, the Datsun BRE Roadster. Carolla is a car nut, but he doesn’t spend like a crazy person because of his responsibilities to his family; this makes his collection more intimate and special.

Daniel Craig Brings Back The Old Aston Martin

James Bond purists rejoice! The original Aston Martin is back! Made popular during it’s appearance in Goldfinger when it was driven by Sean Connery as Bond, the Aston Martin has become iconic to the Bond character, but has been absent from the series for some time now. During Quantum of Solace, current Bond Daniel Craig drove a newer Aston Martin, which looked cool, but left some fans wondering why he couldn’t just drive the classic. Well their wish has been granted and according to recent set photos, the Aston Martin DB5 will be making it’s return in Skyfall with Craig behind the wheel and Top Gear‘s Ben “The Stig” Collins doing the stunt work. So if you’re going to see Skyfall opening weekend, expect to hear the Bond theme, then see Craig coming zipping over the horizon in the classic Aston, and then have the moment ruined by a bunch of people clapping.

Jackie Chan’s Free Jet

You ever get 10 milkshakes at the same ice cream shop and they stamp your “Shake-Club” card, so then the 11^th shake is half price? You know how excited you get when this happends? Now imagine how Karate Kid and Rush Hour star Jackie Chan must feel getting a massive discount on a custom $30 million Legacy 650 private jet. As part of his endorement deal with Brazilian jet makers Embraer, the Hong-Kong martial arts legend got the 14passenger jet for almost free (some think that he actually did get it for free, but Embraer didn’t want to admit to giving jets away).Chan recently signed a deal to be the manufacturer’s Asian-continent brand-ambassador, and now the jet allows him to be all “Well I own one” during sales pitches. We know that it’s not a car, but it’s a mode of transportation, and any time a celebrity gets an almost-free jet, we think that you should know about it.

Miley Cyrus Buys Herself A New Benz

Tired of her crappy old secondhand Porsche, LOL and So Undercover star Miley Cyrus seems to have gone out and bought herself a new Mercedes-Benz. By “seems”, we mean “she did buy a new Benz, but we’re not good at transitions”, as the Hannah Montanna star drove off of the lot behind the wheel of a brand new 2012 SL550 convertible. The white luxury car ran her about $127,000, which is pocket change to a girl who’s worth over $100 million. Considering how much money she has, and her track record of trying too hard to act like an adult, it’s a surprisingly tame purchase, and a really nice one to boot. Like we said before, the new ride replaces the Porsche that her mother used to drive, which was “given to her” (how does someone “give” a millionaire something that was bought with her money?) on her 16^th birthday. By the way, in case you were wondering, we did in fact almost make about 9 “Party in USA” jokes during the writing of this article; be glad we left them out.

Daniel Craig: Another Star Who Loves Audi

It looks like James Bond loves Audis too. Daniel Craig, star of Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and Skyfall (the latest, and some of the most critically acclaimed films in the James Bond:007 series) has been spotted around Los Angeles diving both an Audi R8, and an Audi S6, which have a combined price tag of around $300 thousand (the R8 is responsible for about two-thirds of that), but are still more cost effective than the Bentleys and Bugatis some of his contemporaries are tooling around in. Craig is part of an ever-growing number of celebrities who have chosen to get behind the wheel of the extremely well-built and ultra-safe German car. He looks pretty smooth behind the wheels of those bad boys, but to be honest, he’d probably look smooth in the Geek Squad car from Best Buy, he’s just one of those people. If you’re not imagining opening your door to see Daniel Craig giving you the icey Bond stare while wearing a short-sleeved shirt and tie, VW Bug parked behind him, and him saying “I’ve heard you’ve got printer issues”; then you’ve got no sense of humor…or better things to do, either way.

Asdrubal Cabrera’s Camaro

Asdrubal Cabrera of Major League Baseball’s Cleveland Indians seems to be just now finding his career’s stride, so it’s not wonder that his car is nice, but not the kind of flash-mobile a lot of his contemporaries drive. The Silver Slugger and All-Star Shortstop dropped around $50-60 thousand on a custom red Camaro (customized by MC Customs in Miami, Florida); it features 24 inch Forgiato Misto wheels, anda reallyloud sound system that is also customized with his name and jersey number. The car definitly stands out, but doesn’t scream “I’ve been rich for years”; it’s more of a “Look! I just got rich and this is the car I wanted when I was 12!”. With that said, it’s still nicer than our bus passes, so congrats Asrubal.
