George Clooney has been vocal about his support of the electric and hybrid car movement almost to the point of being annoying. However, two things prevent him from getting on everyones nerves and being considered a mega-hippie: One, he’s George Clooney and can therefore do no wrong. Two, he really walks the walk. To show his support of the green-vehicle cause, Clooney didn’t get nice comfy Hybrid, nope; he went balls to the wall and got the extremely small, extremely uncomfortable looking, and extremely all electric Tango T600. The $150,000 mini-car can go 0-60 in just 4 seconds, but has a battery range of only 40-100 miles, and only seats two passenger; one in the front and one in the back, like a tandem bike. While Clooney can be a little too granola for my tastes sometimes, green vehicles are a great thing, and the guy really commits to his causes, so you have to respect that. Besides, it’ll be funny watching supermodels fight for the backseat now that he’s single.
