Well, there’s “rich”, and then there’s “own a million dollar car” rich. Simon Cowell, of American Idol and The X Factor, is the latter, and he is proud to prove it every time he drives around Los Angeles in his $1.2 million Black Bugatti Veyron. With over 1,000 horsepower under the hood and a top speed of almost 254mph, the Volkswagon produced monster is the fastest, and most expensive street legal car in the world. It’s a bit of a waste, seeing as how Cowell won’t be street racing this bad boy anytime soon. It’s also a bit of a waste because IT’S A MILLION DOLLAR CAR! If I was a billionaire, I still don’t think I could justify spending that kind of money a heart transplant for my grandmother (hey, don’t shake you’re head, she’s had a good run), let alone on a car. I guess when you have the kind of money that Cowell has, you run out of things to spend it on, but for that kind of money, he could have paid me to carry him around for the life of the car, and at least I would’ve called him “Sir”.
