Clint Eastwood’s Man Truck

In case you didn’t already know this: Clint Eastwood is cooler than you. Yup, it may come as a shock to you that an 81 year old man would be better to have at a party than your awesome bro Todd, but the J.Edgar director and Dirty Harry star proves his coolness all the time. For example, when he wanted to drive to his helicoptor, which he knows how to fly, do you think he’d hope in his Bentley? Nope, he would hop in his 1992 GMC Typhoon, a truck that was only produced for two years and is considered to be one of the fastest SUVs of all time. There’s nothing flashy or “swag” about it, it’s just powerful, rugged, and probably smells like beef jerky, just like Eastwood. The Typhoon has a turbo-charged 4.3 liter V6 engine, can hit 0-60 in 5.3 seconds, and can hit the quarter mile in about 14 seconds; and it can probably do it all while hauling lumber, or a dead deer, or whatever Eastwood would want to drive around in his car with. The Typhoon probably only cost him around 30k, so we’re going to assume that the Million Dollar Baby and Gran Torino director used to money he save to open a school for orphans…where they learned to avenge their parents deaths…and how to spell, ’cause that’s important.
