John Goodman, star of Monsters University, ParaNorman, You Don’t Know Jack, and Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is a man of the people, an everyman, and his choice of tranportation proves it. Most of the time, despite his incredible wealth, you can find the Golden Globe Award winner (he won for his famous role as ‘Dan Conner’ on Roseanne) running around the streets in a 1997 Ford F-150. Why? Because he’s as awesome in real life as we’d all hope he is. He has also been seen running errands in an early 2000s Mercedes-Benz S500 with an “ABIDE” sticker on it. The “ABIDE” sticker is in honor of his iconic role as “Walter Sobchak” in The Big Lebowski, which as we all know is one of the greatest comedies ever, and featured the line, “The dude abides”. So yes folks, Walter Sobchak drives around in an old pickup and an old Benz, literally the exact cars that you’d think he drives. John Goodman is awesome, end of story.
