Angelina Jolie Buys Brad Pitt A Helicopter!

Okay okay, we know that it’s not a car; the helicopter-ish shape and propeller blades tipped us off; but that thing is a vehicle worth writing about! You’re looking at some pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie taking helicopter flying lessons, and we’re pretty sure that they were taking their lessons in a chopper similar to the one that she just bought the World War Z star as a gift. Yes folks, they’re so rich that despite all the money they give to charity, they still have enough left over to gift each other with $1.5 million flying machines. The Salt 2 star decided to get the Moneyball actor the lavish gift to go along with the helicopter pad that they have at their home in France and in honor of their recent engagement. We’d like to say mean things about the purchase right now, but these two are friggin’ humanitarians and they’ve adopted a small third world village, so if they want to blow some money once in a while, more power to them. Unfortunately though, we must point out that Brad Pitt has the same haircut as the captains of most girl’s high school softball teams, so maybe he should cut it for optimal helicopter-coolness; just a thought.

Kendall Jenner’s Range Rover

Famous for her roles on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, and Kendall’s Sweet 16; which are all basically the same really dumb show; model Kendall Jenner is the newest star to have arisen from the reality-star factory Kris Jenner calls a womb. So with all her undeserved riches, it’s no surprise that Kendall drives around in a customized Range Rover Sport. The black SUV got its Forgiato Concavo 10 spoke rims painted black and mounted at Calabasas Luxury Motorsports in California, and they look great. Range Rovers are really great cars, but the small truck seems a bit much for a teenager. However, Kendall’s dad is Bruce Jenner, and no matter how puppet like his face gets, he’s still an American hero, so if he says she gets a truck, she gets a truck!

People Want The Monkee Mobile

With the recent passing of famed The Monkees star Davy Jones, people have been clamoring to get their hands on The Monkeemobile; the car that Jones and the rest of the band drove around in during the show. A modified Pontiac GTO that was originally customized by George Barris, the Monkeemobile would seem to be the ultimate collectors item for a Davy Jones fan. Well, they better be ready to wait for the owner to be ready, and have some pretty deep pockets if he ever is. The car is currently owned by Mel Gutherie from Michigan (US), who paid $500 thousand for the car and had it autographed by Jones himself. Guthrie currently has no interest in selling, but if he ever does, the buyer will be getting a pretty mint ride, as the GTO only has 8 thousand miles on it.

Kevin Jonas’ Classic Ride

We really enjoy not enjoying teen-pop sensations around here at CelebrityCar.tv, but we can’t help but give Kevin Jonas of The Jonas Bros. Some credit for his sweet classic ride. We’re not totally sure what the Jonas Bro (is that what a singular one of them is called?) is driving, but we know we like what the Camp Rock star has in his driveway. Pictured here with he and his wife, the car has a gorgeous red paint job and seems to be a full restore of something from the fifties and is probably a Chevy. Jonas is known to have some love in his heart for classic rides, and he’s clearly shown this baby some love. We like this even more because it represents a young multimillionaire (the Jonas Bros. Have sold over 8 million albums and have a merchandising empire on their resumes) spending his money on something truly cool instead of something flashy and overpriced. Best of luck to Kevin, his wife, and their great car.

Elton John Puts Jag Up For Sale

In the grand tradition of people selling other, more famous, people’s cars; the guy who currently owns Elton John’s old classic red Jaguar E-Type is selling it for $110 thousand. The car was originally purchased by John in 1987 at the height of his “Candle in the Wind” phase (as in the song, he didn’t pretend to be a candle or anything) and was old in 2001 to the unnamed buyer, who claims to have only put another 1,000 miles on it. The car has a top speed of 150 miles per hour and features a 4.2-litre V8 engine, chromed wire wheels, a Trio radio/cassette and black leather seats. It’s a really nice car regardless of who drove it before, and it would probably go for big bucks at an auction house even if one of us owned it. We’re not a tenth as cool as Elton John, so we can only imagine that his name attached to it will up the value a bit.

Jay-Z And Beyonce’s Baby Van Is More Expensive Than Your House

If there’s ever an award for “couple that blows the most money on overly-luxurious things”, Jay-Z and Beyonce have that thing in the bag. In the grand tradition of Beyonce giving Jay-Z a $2 million Bugatti Veyron for his birthday, they’re first “family car” ran them over $1 million. The souped-up Mercedes-Benz van was purchased by Beyonce a few months ago and made its first public appearance recently when it showed up to grab the new mother, father, and baby Blue Ivy from New York’s Lennox Hill Hospital. It features hand stitched Italian leather seats, a powerful yet smooth engine, and a bathroom…(* stares blankly *)…yeah, we said it, a bathroom, Beyonce’s van has a full bathroom. In order to insure that she never has to deal with us normals when she’s driving around, the van has a toilet, sink, and shower; we were only half-annoyed until we got to the shower part. The bathroom inside the van is a bit much, a tiny bit insulting to the rest of the world, and seems fairly unnecessary, but at least it’s replacing something that she would actually use while out and about, but a shower? It’s not like there’s public showers everywhere that she could want to avoid; jeez lady, shower at home, no one wants to step in your bathwater while they’re walking around New York.
