Okay, so we heard through the grapevine (should we have made a tailpipe joke there?) that Adam Levine, lead singer of Maroon 5, and coach on The Voice, is a bit of a car lover. We also heard that his favorite car is his 1971 Mercedes 280 SE 3.5 Cabriolet, which sounds awesome, but we just can’t find any pictures of him behind the wheel of it. So folks, you’re going to have to take a look at some pictures of a mint 71′ Mercedes and mentally photoshop Adam Levine into them. The ride probably cost him around $150 thousand depending on condition, although we doubt that he bought a clunker, so assume that he paid top dollar. The 280 SE has the honor of coming equipped with Mercedes’ first V-8 engine, and at the time of its release, it cost about twice as much as a Corvette ($15 thousand). The Mercedes looks an awful lot like something James Bond would drive, and it fits in nicely with the ultra-suave image that Levine portrays.
