Mathew Mcconaughey is sometimes more interesting than the characters he plays. The often shirtless, many times high, but always polite and talented star of The Lincoln Lawyer (in which he drives around in a pimped 1980s Continental) continues this tradition of being a real life character with the ride he owns. While he seems to use a 2011 white Yukon Denali for his family outings, the Tropic Thunder and Frailty star recently got a 1981 Chevrolet Z28 Camaro and uses it for his personal errands and cruising. The car, which is black with t-tops, was his dream vehicle as a kid, and now he gets to stroll around being awesome in one as an adult. Also, it was a gift from his gorgeous girlfriend, so it’s that much cooler. Mcconaughy says that his brother owned one when he was in kid and Texas, and he has many fond memories of it. Now Matthew gets to make memories of his own in this one. First memory on the agenda: do something that doesn’t require a shirt.
