T-Pain’s Rolls Royce Ghost

Check out T-Pain’s Rolls Royce Ghost; we can’t lie,we’re impressed with this car. With a retail price of around $255 thousand, and designed as a small and more practical version of the Rolls Royce Phantom, the Ghost is one of our favorite luxury cars. T-Pain, the man behind “Turn All The Lights On” and “Bartender” is taking good care of his, as he’s placed 22 inch Asanti wheels on it. Adding it to a car collection that includes an awesome Hearse, which look a little plain, but are still a nice addition to the ride. Once again, we have to support the purchasing of a relatively modest car, as T-Pain has chosen to waste a little less money than most others would have. T-Pain may have made a career out of creating over-produced and annoying music, but his car choices make us smile.

Steven Tyler Ridiculous Tri-Cycle

Oh hey Steven Tyler, that’s a fancy big wheel you go there. We’re really not sure what statement Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler (or American Idol’s Steven Tyler if you’ve forgotten that he used to be way more cool than he is now) is trying to make by driving around in a green and gold motor-tricycle. You see, its got all the “I want attention!” That a motorcycle has, but none of the” this is kind of cool because I could crash and die” that actually makes a motorcycle interesting. Yes, we will admit that it’s a well make piece of machinery; even we can’t deny that the design is sick. However, trikes are usually driven by guys that normally ride around on real bikes but want a change of pace; not old rich guys who wear eye shadow. We really like Steven Tyler, he’s a legend, but this vehicle screams” poser!”.

Tyga’s Gold Audi

Well, this is a new one; someone finally went out and actually got themselves a gold car, but it’s not who you’d think. Somewhat obscure rapper Tyga (it stands for “Thank You God Always”) has spent a buttload of cash, in addition to the roughly $200 thousand msrp, making his Audi R8 into a gold-chrome monster. With its 20 inch rims and midas-touched paint-job, it’s a bit too flashy for our more classic tastes; it makes him look like a poorly conceived James Bond villain. However, with all that said, the car has a certain charm that we can’t deny, and it maintains about as much class as a car that’s been painted all gold possibly can. Besides, if he decides to go into a life of crime, he’s already pretty solidly set up to be a high-level super villain,

Steven Tyler Out In His Porsche

It’s kind of a shame there’s entire generations who only know Steven Tyler as a judge on American Idol and as the dude that screeched out horrible songs like “Pink”. We like to remember the good times, like “Dream On”, “Walk This Way”, and the epic-poem that is “Love In An Elevator”; and as the kind of guy that buys a modestly priced (by celebrity standards) Porsche 911 instead of something ridiculousy over-priced. Here we see him rolling around Los Angeles with a backseat full of roses for his fiance. There’s something cool about that too; that Tyler went out and got his own roses for his lady instead of ordering them or sending a personal assistant. We bet J-Lo wouldn’t be caught dead with flowers in the backseat of a car that wasn’t platinum plated and driven by a robot-butler.

John Travolta’s Benz Was Lost, Then Found…Kinda

Oh no! John Travolta’s car got stolen! Whatever will he do? If your answer was “Who cares, he’s rich; he owns like three planes.”, then congratulations, you’re one of us. If you were actually worried, then you’re probably John Travolta, and we loved you in Pulp Fiction and you shouldn’t worry; the cops found your stolen 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL. Well, to be more honest, they found some pieces of it in a chop-shop. Travolta’s rare vintage Benz was stolen a couple of months back, and a police sting recover the remnants of it back in December. We’re really having trouble feeling bad about this one folks, especially since they caught the thieves, are forcing them to pay Travolta restitution, and because the Benz was stolen while he was visiting his Jaguar dealer, need we say more? Oh yeah, and Wild Hogs was terrible, so he owed society for that one anyway.

Timbaland’s Rolls Royce Phantom

Timbaland drives a Rolls Royce, that’s so…boring. For some reason, we expected the mega producer to drive something a little more original, a little more custom, a little more different from every other rich person in the hip-hop industry. However, Timbaland surprised us with his white Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead, which, even with it 22″ Chrome Forgiato Grano wheels, doesn’t really stand out from the pack. The car is gorgeous, don’t get us wrong, but it’s really just a mobile “I’m rich” sign, as it cost him every bit of $500 thousand. We’re hoping that he’s got something else more interesting in garage; not that it would effect anything,he’s still filthy rich and super-successful, just for our sake we hope he has something cool we can look at.
