Mark Wahlberg Drives Terrible Car On Pain And Gain Set

Well now we really want to see this movie! Check out these set photos of Mark Wahlberg puting around in a ridiculously colored Lamborghini while filming Pain and Gain; his bodybuilding crime capper that he’s starring in with Dwayne Johnson. As part of his muscle-head character, Wahlberg drives around Miami in a puce-colored Lambo, wearing the tightest tank-top possible and looking like the world’s biggest idiot (he basically looks like a reserve character on Jersey Shore). In the real world, Wahlberg is a nice guy who seems to have good taste in cars and definitely wouldn’t get behind the wheel of something that looks like a giant pantyhose container from the future. The film is being directed by Michael Bay, the film industry’s leading authority of looking like the world’s biggest idiot.

Will.i.am’s Corvette Is Pretty Awesome

Okay folks, Will.i.am is winning. Let’s get this out of the way: the Black Eyed Peas are absolutely terrible; they’re one of the most annoying acts from what will be known as one of the most annoying times in the history of music. With that said, Will took a 59′ Corvette and had the guts from a 2008 Corvette put into it; that’s so awesome that the keyboard almost just exploded from having the phrase typed on it. The work was done by West Coast Customs and was even featured on their reality show. It’s a great concept, although we feel that he ripped us off a little bit because we were going to take out current 1998 Saturn SL2 and put the engine, roof liner, and glove box door from a different 1998 Saturn SL2 into it; not because our current one doesn’t have any of those things but because…okay, we own a gutted Saturn…all of us…together…we take the bus a lot.

Dan Wheldon (22 June 1978 – 16 October 2011)

Unfortunate news today, as Dan Wheldon, the IndyCar driver known for his Indy Racing League IndyCar Series Championship in 2005 and his Indianapolis 500 wins in 2005 and 2011, has passed away at the age of 33. Weldon died shortly after being involved in a horrific 15-car collision at Sunday’s IZOD IndyCar World Championship in Las Vegas. Known for his tough racing style (a style that saw him get shoved by Danica Patrick in a highly publicized post-race confrontation; incidentally, it was revealed last night that Wheldon was going to replace Patrick on the Andretti Racing Team next year), outspoken nature, and for winning the most famous race in the world in a car owned by a member of a boy band (somewhere up in the ether, we hope Dan just smiled at how ridiculous that statement was). Dan is survived by his wife and two children, and was honored with a five-lap salute by his fellow drivers after the suspension of Sunday’s race.

Kanye’s Mega-Benz

Kanye West drives an expensive car!? Are you as shocked as we are? Which is not at all?! Yup, it’s true folks, not only does one half of the duo responsible for Watch The Throne drive a pricey ride; he drives a $1.7 million Mclaren Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss! It’s like the freakin’ Batmobile! Despite it’s lack of windshield, the luxury beast has a top speed of 217 mph, and can hit 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Oh yeah, and it’s one of only 75 in existence. Is the car necessary? Not even a little bit; but is it awesome? Yes, yes it it. Especially considering the fact that if he ever wants to be a superhero, he’s already got the ride.

Wyclef’s Pagani Zonda C12S

Fugees front man turned hip-hop producer Wyclef may have lost out on the Haitian Presidential race, but he has made up for it by owning a car whose wheels cost more than their capital building. As we’ve said before, it’s not uncommon for a celebrity to blow $350,000 on a sports or luxury car. Every week, someone who just got a royalty check, or a record deal, or had a big opening weekend buys themselves a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, or a Maybach. However, it’s not every week that someone buys themselves a Pagani Zonda C12S, so let’s all hear it for Wyclef for being different. The Italian made sports car has a yearly production run of under 30, so it’s super rare, especially in the U.S.. It has a Mercedes V12 engine, ABS, Traction Control, a Brembo braking system with 4 (very large) self-ventilated discs, 18″ OZ Racing alloy wheel rims, specifically designed Michelin Pilot Sport tires, and an adjustable suspension with Ohlins shock absorbers so finally tuned that test drivers barely felt any pull while reaching speeds of over 200mph.

Lil Wayne’s Cars – Nothing Cheap Here

Ok, so I may not always like the people that drive hybrids and smart cars, and I may make fun of them for the way they carry themselves like they’re better than the rest of us, but at least I respect their choice. However, I cannot say the same for the hip-hop community, as today, we have superstar rapper ‘Lil Wayne, and his abundance of high priced cars…that he doesn’t need and probably rarely drives. He describes most of them in one of his “raps” (I think that’s what the kids call it when the words rhyme and they talk in a wierd voice instead of singing, and mention platinum and “bootys”),”Yellow Viper, yellow Hummer, Yellow Benz, Yellow PT Cruiser, yellow ‘Lac on rims, Drop yellow ‘Vette and a platinum Rolls Royce, That’s seven different cars, everyday I got a choice.” He could have just saved time and said “I spend a lot of money.”. He also has a Cadillac CTS, and an Aston Martin that fellow rapper Birdman gave to him as a present. Yes folks, a a rich guy gave another rich guy a super expensive car as a gift, and now they’re both going to go out and yell on stage about how they’re from “the streets”. ‘Lil Wayne definitely has some nice vehicles, but man is it a waste of money.
