We’re going to guess that our non-UK readers (which is most of you) were either really confused by that title, or assumed that there was some sort of Mr. Bean related competition that LeBlanc had out-Beaned Atkinson in. Unfortunately that’s not the case, but LeBlanc did beat Rowan’s Top Gear track record during a “The Star In A Reasonably Priced Car” segment on a recent episode of the hit BBC show, and that’s cool too. LeBlanc, known for his award winning performances on Friends and Episodes, begged producers to let him be a guest on the show and to compete in the segment, where celebrities get behind the wheel of an average car (LeBlanc drove a Kia) and run time trials around a race track. They obliged, and the rest is insignificant but still kind of cool history. Word has it that Johnny English star Atkinson will not be too happy with his being unseated and may ask for another shot. We think they should have them go head-to-head in some sort of cross country race, and make them have famous co-star navigators. Atkinson can have Hugh Grant, and LeBlanc can have the monkey from Ed.
